Breakfast with Noosa Yoghurt at The Whale Wins

This past Friday I had the privilege of joining Trends on Trends and great group of local Social Media Influencers at a lovely Breakfast at The Whale Wins in Seattle hosted by noosa yoghurt. It was such a wonderful experience for me. I met so many amazing people, fellow bloggers and business people, involved in food, fashion and photography. The room was buzzing with creative people, most who I met for the very first time.

Of course the food was fantastic. We started with Stumptown Coffee and a delicious noosa yoghurt Bar with three wonderful flavors, Vanilla, Blueberry and their new Pumpkin flavor, my new favorite. I love that the Pumpkin flavor actually taste like real pumpkin without the spice. So good! The toppings were perfect matches and they included Za’atar, Toasted Walnuts in Olive Oil, Blackberries and local Sea Creatures Honey. I enjoyed experimenting with each flavor and pairing them with the different toppings, both savory and sweet.

Chef Renee Erickson prepared a scrumptious breakfast for the group which included Poached Eggs on toasted Seawolf Bread with Saffron Aioli, sliced Tomatoes and green Herbs, a beautiful Green Salad and of course her delectable General Porpoise Doughnuts! Renee will be opening a new doughnut shop soon and we were lucky to get a sneak peek and taste. The Doughnut fillings were Plum Jam, Vanilla Custard and Roasted Lemon Curd. I can’t tell you how good they were. Everyone at the table could not wait to get a taste.

I really enjoyed myself at this beautiful breakfast gathering and loved meeting and connecting with the talented people that were brought together for this event.
